Religious Freedom Conference

The conference is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Religious Freedom Committee, and will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 9:00-11:30 am at Colorado Mesa University. 

The theme for this year's conference is, The Power of Narratives: How Interfaith Dialogue Shapes Perceptions of Religious Freedom. The conference will begin with a light breakfast in CMU’s Dominguez Hall foyer, followed by selected community speakers and our returning keynote speaker Steven Collis.  Steven Collis is a law professor and director of the Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center at the University of Texas–Austin and the preeminent religious freedom expert.
